Tonight at the Red..

UL started out with 2 runs in the 1st.  We answered with 2 runs in the 3rd, including a HR by Leslie.  We had runniers iin scoring position in the 4th but couldn't knock them in.

After 4, we're tied 2-2.

Bulls down 7-2 in the 7th. HORRIBLE pitching n playing against a team that has not been playing well. We may even miss the CUSA tournament.

UL 10-2 top of seventh and bases loaded with 1 out. thats FOUR runs in this inning and still pitcjing Higgins.

Sorry but to lose a series at HOME when you needed it to advance to tournament against a team that was 4-17 coming into the series and this happens. Says a lot about team or leadership

The questions asked before and now is:

1) Is it the poor facilities that doesn't bring in the better players and having a coach doing the best he can with what he's got?

or

2) Are we getting good players despite the facilities who should be at least getting to and going deep into the conference tournament but don't due to poor preparation or coaching?

It looks like USF will at least make it to the C-USA Baseball tourney as we are leading 7-1 in the 8th inning.
