BIG EAST Schedule Made Even Tougher When the BIG EAST slate was announced this fall, it’s safe to say no Bulls’ fans fired off a thank you note to the schedule makers. Not only are the Bulls one of just four league teams (USF, Louisville, DePaul, Rutgers) to open with two conference road games, the team is the lone program to do so at two nationally ranked opponents.  The Bulls opened BIG EAST play at No. 14 UConn Tuesday night before traveling to No. 10 Pittsburgh Sunday afternoon. While the Bulls do now have five of their next seven at home, each of the next two opponents (Louisville and Cincinnati) will have a week to prepare for USF.  Louisville comes to Tampa on Jan. 10 after last taking the court Jan. 3 at Notre Dame.  Cincinnati fell at home to Rutgers Jan. 7, but doesn’t return to action until its matchup with USF.The squad’s next two league road contests, at West Virginia (Jan. 17) and Notre Dame (Jan. 21), also have the potential to be against programs rated in the nation’s top-25.

Does someone in the league office say "gee, USF has tons of problems as it is, lets try to create a schedule that will make it even more difficult for them to compete"

It usually ends with the same result. A LOSS
