Did anyone listen to 620 this morning?

I don't think the date of the game kept that many from going....maybe we would have had 6k instead of 5.2k??

wasnt that darek sharp? if so, he ALWAYS pumps up usf sports, so i seriously doubt he was knocking us.

the date did keep me from going...  when you have people coming into town from all over for the holidays, having a bowl game xmas weekend just isn't feasible.  TV was the only option.

Look...the talking heads don't get paid to talk USF. They get paid to gen

ratings numbers. If more people want to hear about what a bad year FSU

& Miami are having, than want to hear about USF...that's what's going to

get put on the air. UF's in the hunt for a Nat'l Championship, which is going

to get more attention that our fourth win over non-BCS CDOA ECU.

I realize that sometimes their comments can rub us the wrong way, but

the bottom line is that the PJ.COM bowl was what it was, attendance wise

and I don't know that the event at SPTF won't have a larger contingent of

FSU folks in there than will USF...although we're the local folk.

But...I'll be down there this evening. We'll see how things shake out.  8-)

nobody wants to drive to birmingham to see usf play east carolina.

the year before that -- the problem is USF played in Charlotte..

its going to take some time and years to get people to travel in the 10K range.

A trip to a BCS game will solve it all.

They were right, very few usf fans are going downtown to watch crm lead the bulls to another loss.  The number of hard core bball fans has dwindled to less then 1500, so I would estimate there to be 1000 -1500 usf fans at the ice palace.
