Matt Grothe vs Taurus Johson

With 4:25 left in the 1st quarter, Taurus Johnson really showed his ass on the field. I dont know what the argument was about, so i wont choose sides here, but they were yelling at each other and TJ wouldnt let it go. So much so, that Leavitt had to take him out of the game.

Was anyone else close enough to hear or see anything I didnt?

Think it was simply because of somebody was in motion at teh same time and seemed that GrothE thought it was him.

Sure it's a no issue and we'll be seeing both hook up lot in 2007 & 2008.

Same thing happened with Pontoon after he fumbled.  Some player said something to him on the sideleines and Pontoon said stuff and called him a *****.

Those three WRs looked lost on that play, so I think Grothe let them know about it. The thing I love about Grothe is that he will tell you right there on the field if you are screwing up. If those players dont like it then they can sit on the bench. This is now Grothe's team to command which is a good thing for sure.

And if what you say is true about Ponton not being happy then I wont be surprised if he is gone next season. It had to hurt him in that Williams got a lot of carries in that bowl game. It also made it worse that he fumbled the ball on one of his carrires, so I dont doubt that he is not happy right now.
