defense responed 1st and 4 became 4th and 23. WOW! and no score

then on the last ecu drive we stopped them for scoring

that is what i call manning up!

They definately "Cowboy'd" up !

They did it all day ! The Front 4 was constant and the LB's were great! Cray as impressive. Everyone was hitting hard !

And Verpaele was Hammering people !

We were very aggressive, but never really let anything up ... the lone TD was a great pass and catch. Trae played it well, just went past his arm for the defense.

Defense won that game handidly (sp?) !

and they are all young with the exception of LB's

solid core group just like on offense sans the RB

Anybody else notice Nate Allen's solid play at safety?

We've got a logjam of very good safeties next year!  I think they should move Gachette to OLB....he'd be all over the place!

When Julmiste came in, everyone on the planet earth knew we werent scoring another point, so the defense definitely put the team on it's shoulders.

It was great to see Allen get lots of reps in there ... and think that Gachette will stay at SS ... we have a bigger log jam at LB  8-)
