the most gracious losers to be sure.  I love it when a team losses and the fans still say the team that beat them really wasn't any good their team just had a bad game that day.  I'm sure I've done the same.  I wasn't the best loser after Rutgers so I'm not above this.  However, being on the other side I realize how dumb I must have looked to the Rutgers fans (probably a little dumber given the beer I had)

Hey, RU forgives you for yout transgressions. You guys have a tough team. I would love to hate you guys, but how can you hate a team that comes to play and plays hard. You guys are great additions to the BIG EAST.

If they hadn't hurt Grothe we would have won by 40.

The only thing that kept this game from getting completely out of hand was Grothe leaving. USF would have won by 30+ if he had been able to stay in. Instead they went into a prevent offense in the second half because they knew there was no way ECU would catch up.

The announcers said it themselves in the last minute of the game - it's apparent how wide the difference is between these two programs. ECU wanted to sell tickets and look good on TV. USF wanted to win the game.

The first notice that people have a "problem" is denial!!! ECU has a "problem." They were always talkin smack, saying we will show it on the field, etc. They sure showed it allright. They did not ever see a D like ours being so quick. Next thing you will hear is that we were playing dirty! Geesh!!! Get a life ECU...in CUSA!!!
