Says Birmingham has welcomed us with open arms and seems very excited as a host city. There will be 1000 staying at the Sheraton! Says our guys are pumped and ready. The press has been great, waiting to see the team at practise and snapping pics all over. Coach JL let them for awhile but then nixed any further camera action. Working on some new plays maybe????? : It's called don't tell ECU. Regarding the best route to take here is the suggestion!!! He went via Atlanta to Birmingham. He said not good, too much construction. Since he is a trucker here is the route he suggested: I 75 N to I10. Head West on I10 to Tallahassee. In Tallahasse pick up 27 North. Take this to Bainbridge, GA. At Bainbridge pick up 84 West and head west to Dothan, AL. As you are coming in to Dothan on 84 there is a circle around the city (210). Get off of 84 on to 210 heading North. Eventually you will circle around to 231 and take 231 north off the beltway. Don't follow 84 through the city of Dothan. Make sure you get off on 210 and head around the city. Once on 231 heading North follow this through Montgomery to where you will pick up I65 and head on in to Birmingham. To pick up I65 in Montgomery there are 2 ways to hit it. The first option is the best, 231 hits 80/82 which is a circle around Montgomery. The Beltway is named Eastern Blvd, Southern Blvd, Northern Blvd & West Blvd. You want to take Southern Blvd which goes directly in to I65 in a short distance and then head north to Birmingham.

There is some construction and congestion. BTW - Is there any Interstate Highway not under construction? If so, I haven't been on it! Obviously politicians funneling $$$$$$$$ through it...

I'm not arriving until Saturday am and was hoping not to have to spend a bunch of time searching for the tent and majority of USF tailgaters. Glad you arrived safely.
