Pitt is probably the best team right now. Schools like UConn, WVU, and Pitt haven't beaten anyone with a pulse yet. There is A LOT of freshman talent though, bright futures ahead.

Tough loss to Butler (who beat some really good teams in the preseason NIT), and they beat #23 Maryland and #5 Alabama. I think they cracked the Top 25 after those two wins.By the way, did you see Oden shooting free throws with his off hand (lefthanded). Was that due to the injury, or is he just trying something different with his FTs? If it works, maybe Shaq will try it.

This is the year that teams like USF, Notre Dame, Seton Hall, and Providence need to make a move before the big guys in the BIG EAST step it up next season. Notre Dame looks like a much improved team. I watched them beat a good Bama team last week which was a very entertaining game. Seton Hall has a good new coach in Bobby Gonzalez. As you know, Gonzalez was sought out by many big programs after they (Manhattan) upset Florida a few years ago in the BIG DANCE. Gonzalez will get Seton Hall rolling. The question is, will he stay at Seton Hall or move on?
Guest BasketBull. Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I couldn't give a hoot about the Big East --all it means to me is that USF has chance to take some of the top feeders out.THE GARDEN OR BUST! GO BULLS!

However teams that ruled this league last year Nova hasn't looked too great, UConn still hasn't played a team with a pulse, Cuse can beat the Colgates, Canasius, and (insert small NY college) but turn and lose to decent Witchita State and OK State teams. If there is a year that we make our move, this is it.

Also between Lebron and this cat im beginng to think that the state of Ohio doctors more birth certificates than the Dominican Republic.
