The ECU fans have a serious case of conference envy, and will do anything to try to make themselves feel like contenders.  When we shut them down at the bowl, they'll disappear off message boards for a while.

I think this is a visual representation of the legitimate semi-confirmed rumor that the ACC was expanding to 33 teams in the height of the conference realignment conspiracy theories.

C'mon - no one else remembers the Georgia Southern deal that was going to happen until Morris Brown threatened to sue the ACC?  I hear they are still going to go to the Pac-10.
