This website is just awful.  Here is the page for the link "Game Day Info" - nothing is listed except the game itself.  From previous posts, I know they plan at least some tailgate event that morning, but it cannot be found at the site.  What a joke - the City of Birmingham must be livid with ESPN Regional botching this so badly.

My A$$... back when there was still some ambiguity about where we'd end up, I was a regular visitor to PJ.com Bowl's non-site, the Texas Bowl site, and the International Bowl site. It's their first bowl too, and their sites are pretty good; at least good enough to let us know what's going on. If it weren't for this board, I wouldn't know a thing about any other bowl-related activities. A bowl organizer should see this as a major problem. People can't go if they don't know.

Negatives

1. It's on 12-23-2006

2. It's in Birmingham

3. It's at Legion Field

4. Look at the PJ.com Bowl's website (few if any activities besides the game)

5. Low payout.

6. C-USA (6-6,  Non BCS) opponent....little to nothing gained by winning...much to lose if we lose.

I don't consider Legion Field to be a negative.

Yes, it's an old, worn-out stadium.  But it has historic value.
