The important fact is that we greatly improved between the McNeese State game and the West Virginia game.

Guest JulmisteForPrez Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Yes, Kansas was a game we CERTAINLY should have won, and had we played any kind of game at all, we could have beaten Cincy rather soundly as well.Cincy's defense was/is stout, but we still could have played TONS better. That Kansas loss frustrated me more than any other by far, though.

UCFs final records in 2004, 2005 and 2006 literally came to 3-5 plays per game that made the difference. That's true of most games for any school - but point is, after quite frankly escaping FIU and UCF with wins to beating a top 10 team, you guys had a great season even with a freshman QB and tons of personell adversity. I wouldn't write this off as the "woulda coulda shoulda" seasons just yet.

We manhandled you and then fell asleep to let you stage a 4th quarter come back on a prevent defense. Don't give yourself any credit, you don't deserve it.
