Realize how fortunate we are to be bowling ... for the 2nd straight year!

I understand it is difficult to go to a game this close to Christmas, but if you can - I THANK YOU for much for representing BULL Nation !

Those that can not, as I ... NEED to buy tickets to help our school and have people in those seasts, be it students, boys and girls clubs, homeless, etc.

And remember to buy Bowl items ! This also helps.

As it has been stated MANY times here, we need to "show up" for these Bowl games ... and not to over look them as second rate ... if we look at them that way, we will stay at second rate bowls.

if the bulls win the big east, they don't get a 2nd rate bowl, unless you call BCS 2nd rate.

They only way our attendance hurts us is if we are 2nd place.  Gator bowl might be hesitant and they aren't obligated to pick us... but if we win the conference, the BCS is obligated.

Exactly ... and also, we do not know what the future holds for any new system.

Bottom Line: Our players and coaches could suffer because of the size of our fan base.

The fan base is not going to grow over night.  It's going to grow as students go through the University and attending games.  I think it's awesome that the Alumns that go to the games even though while they were students there was no team have the school spirit  to be fans.

We wont sell out the alotment this year or next year or the year after that.  Sure every little bit helps, but don't expect to see more than 500 more fans in BHam than were in North Carolina last year.

The only way USF would boost numbers overnight to a bowl if it were in orlando and we played FSU or something impossibly rediculous.

2006 Bowl ... agree it will be tough.

2007 Bowl ... think we can with the interest of tickets after WVU.

2008 Bowl ... feel very confident we will.
