Guest JulmisteForPrez Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 See? Look what you can do when you just start off with a modest stadium of your own. That's exactly what we need to do. 45,000 or so seats on-campus with an expandable plan to 65,000, then 85,000.

USF does not have the DONORS to build a Dining Hall, little alone a stadium.

USF does not have the DONORS to build a Dining Hall, little alone a stadium.Fact is that we cannot stay in Ray Jay forever, if we ever want to reach the top levels we need our own stadium that is truely ours. We all argue over this, but we will never have an identity with a Bucs flag at midfield and ship in the endzone. Having a stadium that we are the only ones who play in is about an identity. When you say Ray Jay, most people think Bucs. When you say LA Coliseum, most people think USC. It's about identity, and until we move out, we are still the 2nd team in that stadium. As for building the staium, it will take time, and it will take money, but if you mean to tell me USF fans can't stand having a stadium without all these extra comforts, then we really are not ready for the national college stage. Do you think the Swamp has all those comforts? No, but they fill that stadium every weekend. I know this is also about having a recruitingpoint, but that can only go so far.Congratulations to Louisville, its good to see a fellow Big East school growing in fan size.
