Softball has all the potential to be in the softball CWS. More pitching than Ken can know what to do with.In 2008, they will be mentioned with UCLA and Arizona in the same breath as their core team will be juniors and seniors. The expectations will be off the chart that season. We have a powerhouse on our hands!!!

Guest Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 And when you consider the softball facilities, it really is amazing what Ken has done here at USF.

I dont know too much about Ken personally but from what I heard thank g-d his wife has a very sucessful practice in the area which is one big reason Ken has not left.

I know Erickson has always done a great job with his girls but if this is the season to watch, then I am a softbull supporter. Thanks for the heads up Terry and Marc.

We host tourney's every year... our facilities should be in line with the UofA facility. If you build it, they will come. People will watch USF softball if the digs are nice... mark my word. People at USF like winners. The softball team has a penchant for winning. Throw in some new digs, and the casual fan will bring their daughter to the game. You may think I'm crazy for saying that... but we could easily draw a 1,000 fans to a weekend game if marketed the right way. You gotta bullieve!

So to put together a program that could realistically compete for a national championship on what is basically a glorified intramural field is outstanding.Imagine what he can do once the new stadium is built!!
