ECU will play in the Papajohns.com Bowl

The East Carolina Pirates will play in the Papajohns.com Bowl in Birmingham, Ala., on December 23, ECU announced today.

ECU's opponent might not be confirmed until later in the week, but likely opponents include South Florida and Cincinnati.

The bowl will be televised on ESPN2 at 1 p.m.

ECU fans usually travel very well for their bowl games.  There will be a bunch of them I'm sure no matter the distance.
