GreatOneFromMatewan Posted November 28, 2006 Group: Member Topic Count: 4 Content Count: 21 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 10/15/2005 Posted November 28, 2006 Just wanted to stop by and say congrats to you guys for a great win. No excuses. You guys took it to us and were the better team Saturday. USF absolutely dominated the LOS and that was the difference I think. You guys did something that no team has been able to do for two years now - stop our running game. I didn't think it was possible to completely bottle up both White and Slaton (sometimes teams have been able to stop one but not the other) but you guys did it. When Coach Leavitt started choking up during the post game interview I almost was happy for you guys. Almost. You could tell how much this win meant to him. He seems like a real classy guy and I hope you can hang on to him. As for us, I'm not sure where we go from here. We still have one more against Rutgers and then the bowl game. It will be interesting to see if this young WVU team can bounce back from this. As for next year, we return basically everyone so I think we will be OK. I live in Cape Coral and was at RayJay for last year's game. I had a great time and enjoyed the game thoroughly, and I can't wait to do it again next year. Best of luck in your bowl game.

I think you guys will get over this loss pretty quick. Like you said, no one can stop your offense. We did, but that is certainly not the norm. Put 500 yards rushing on Rutgers I know I should be rooting for Rutgers due to the money factor of 2 BCS slots, but I like WVU more.
