How the hell is a 2-3 Stanford still ranked?

Stanford's losses are to Tennessee, Georgia, and BYU... that might account for something.

Not really, not when you look at who we played thus far....albeit our ladies have crushed each and every opponent.  I like where we're at, the next two weeks will decide a lot of things for USF and where we fit in the national picture- no need to push for the ranking the next two weeks will tell people if we're deserving or not.

We've got FIU then away at #20 Michigan State, then away against a below average conference foe Nova, then at home against #12 Vanderbilt.  No need to get ranked to quickly or else if we lose against both the ranked teams the pollsters will be reluctant to push us up again until they're positive we're ready.

The next four games will tell the story- go 3-1 and that puts this team at 9-1, and they **** sure better be ranked...go 4-0 and definitely in the top 20, go 2-2 and we're about where we should be...

By December 20th you'll know whether we have a legit beef about not being ranked or whether it's all smoke and mirrors.

My guess, is with this extra deep bench, finally having multiple outside sharp shooters and finally having legit size inside that at that point we could be applauding and not grimacing.

Hmm, George Washington and Arkansas still have to deal with me in Saint Louis.  You better believe that if they are still ahead of us come gametime, I'll be on my most vicious behavior when they take on the Lady Billikens.  They play in a 1920s-era gymnasium where I can stand about a foot-and-a-half off the sideline and yank down a visiting player by her ponytail if she gets too close and the ref isn't looking. . .
