Houston 9-3 (West Champions)

Southern Miss 8-4 (East Champions)

Tulsa 8-4

East Carolina 7-5

Rice 7-5

Southern Methodist 6-6 (won't get a bowl game)

Expect Houston to go to the Liberty or GMAC bowl.  Tulsa would probably prefer the Armed Forces Bowl -- closer.  So that leaves ECU or Rice.

Out of the 3 options trouncing ECU would be fun, and showing Southern Miss that recruiting USF into C-USA was about quality not quantity.  Those two games could have a slight silver lining, but I'd rather play an average BCS conference school.  Florida State is would look exctremely appealing, but it's not going to happen.  I'm still praying for RU to beat WVU and the Gator Bowl to go out on a limb and pick us!!!

Southern Miss because I still cant stand them, and would love to beat them. But ECU wouldnt be too bad, we have a history with them too.

They don't deserve it. If they can't beat us in the regular season, they can't do it in a bowl. But this is off topic.

I voted So. Miss to get the flip (we're 1-3 vs So. Miss). We're 3-0 vs ECU and haven't played Rice.
