Not much. Notre Dame will still be in the BCS.

It does help get U of L into the Top 4 of the BCS and earn an automatic bid... or move up to earn an at-large bid.

No. ND gets an at-large automatically slot if they are in the Top 8... and can be picked if they are in the Top 14.

Louisville is currently .003 behind Wisconsin, so they should pass them. Hopefully they will be 5 or 6 when the BCS comes out tomorrow.
