Nope, in fact little was done to prevent their fans from rushing the field after the um win.  And it wasnt like a last minute field goal or td that gave them the win.  fans and security knew they were going to win after the 1st quarter.

Yeah Matt told me that they pretty much had a giant celebration on the field afterwards, no tazering whatsoever

When a handful of people storm the field, it's easy to stop... when fans pour on to the field from all over - cops can forget about that... then they just watch for violent behavior...

It's about the numbers people... you need more than 30-40 coming over the wall to make it meaningful.

Iowa fans stormed the field at Minnesota a couple of years ago... tore down the goal post but couldn't get the post out of the dome.
