usf needs to upgrade special teams

coach and philosophy

it is 1/3 of the game and usf doesnt compete

we cant hit a field goal

our punter cant put it in the corner

we cant tackle and we are always penalized

why such little detail and care to this aspect of the game is beyong me

our current field goal kicker will never hit a meaningful field goal at usf

Special teams was and continues to be my biggest concern.  We were spoiled with Baker as the punter the last couple of years.  He helped dig us out of a lot holes with timely kicks.

Benzer scares me right now.  Hopefully he'll hit a few and start to get some confidence which will give me confidence.  Until then, I'm closing my eyes on ALL FGs and PATs.

The Fieldgoal kicking needs some work

for the rest the the special teams if we cut down on the flags then we are fine

I have said two weeks in a row that special teams are horrible... I do not think Leavitt's ego will let them suck for too long!
