Then again if the only 2 plays you run are QB draws and screens, it's kind of hard to make some big plays when you aren't taking shots down field. Offensive play calling needs to step up first/
Guest JulmisteForPrez
I agree with both of you guys.Where the heck is Amarri & Amp?? They've both been MIA so far! That's not a good sign. Rod Smith......use your weapons, son!!!!!!

Amarri would have had his shot downfield if he'd listened to the audible Grothe called against FIU that led to the INT.These guys need to work harder. It's not a one way street here. Guest JulmisteForPrez
I still am not convinced Amp's knee is not a problem. From all accounts, he shredded it up pretty thoroughly. Sometimes, it just isn't possible to return to more than 80-85% of what you once were. I really think that might be what we're seeing in Amp.Just a thought. We have big and athletic WR's but Smith almost seens scared to put them in a position to succeed and make and impact on the game.

We do have some athletic guys that can make plays. That being said, I stand by my assertion that they're not getting open like they should. We finally have a QB who can deliver them the ball, too. They need to bust their butts and make it easier for him to do so.
Guest JulmisteForPrez
Rod Smith cannot take the training wheels off this offense. Not because the players aren't ready, but because HE isn't ready.
