It will be nice having Thed back in there. He should help with run blocking. Williams and Co. are going to have to hit the holes and play better than they did last week.

Clebert played a good game. Buie had a very bad penalty that kept an FIU drive alive.

These are important changes.  Obviously Watson.  Bleakley is an important as a blocker on O and his return on special teams will be big.  Don't discount that on a unit where we've been sucking it up.  I like Buie and Selvie at the ends.  Awsome athleticsm and speed.

no word on suspensions yet?  Watson should help where it seems we need Ponton, but Julmiste would help at DE.

no word? they're out. leavitt said watson will start if he's healthy, but he didn't practice today. leavitt thinks he'll be ready to go. if not, it's carnes or huners at left tackle ...

don't take that chart to mean "who is starting." it's kind of a midweek snapshot. a lot can change from there to saturday ...

Yeah but on Buie's penalty it wasn't really intentional.  He was stretching his arms out at the QB as he was throwing the ball coming full speed and when his hands came down they got caught in Padrick's face mask.  The penalty looked worse then it was because Buie didn't intentionally do it as much as he was trying like hell to get the QB and was unluckly with his hand getting caught in the face mask.  His momentum carried him and the QB down and it looked bad.  It was definitely a penalty but more bad luck then an intentional flagrant foul.

I just hope Buie and Selvie apply some good pressure. Selvie was a man possessed in the second half last week.

yeah and Buie started getting in a groove in the 2nd half too.  Both have all the ability in the world to be top notch.  If they continue to develop like they have in the first two games we could have some great ends on our hand before they conclude their careers at USF.
