Sports Illustrated's new power rankings have us at #50, which is a bit of a shock.  Rutgers was slightly out of the Top 25.  I believe the Tinmen were in the mid 50s.

i sure hope it was a shock because we were that high... definitely do not deserve to be any higher

I think we are 39 in fox sports rankings, if I remember correctly.  Probably don't deserve that high base on what we have seen, but hey last year we were ranked to low to start the season, until we beat UL and moved up.

The rankings are almost as powerful as the time I spent an entire day throwing darts into a board to determine the order of the top 25 preseason.  Funny how 5 different spaces were for USF.

Note: it is very difficult to form a top 25 with USf at both #17 and #9.
