People around here don't seem to realize the Bulls don't need to play UCF. It's a meaningless series for the Bulls no matter how much money and local interest it generates. Yours truly, Jemele Hill Orlando Sentinel Knights-Bulls rivalry is not a no-brainer Very good article. All true, but now that the games are scheduled they all need to be played. USF certainly has a TON to lose, but the key is they can't lose. After all, if they do this Saturday there are still two more to play. I agreed from the outset of all the reasons this was a horrible scheduling blunder - basically Jamele Hill's logic -- but what is done is done. I think she states it perfectly here: The last thing they need is to lose to a rival from a non-BCS conference...

(Look at our 1st two crowds...pitiful for a BCS team that went to a bowl game)

The day Bianchi leaves Orlando and goes back to Gainesville will be one of the best gifts that UCF can get. Sun Sports has become such a joke because of Bianchi in my opinion. At least this writer is taking a different angle, and trying to say the truth on why USF does not really want this rivalry with UCF. Bianchi just likes to stir things up with both UCF and USF only to remind us all that we are never going to catch his beloved Florida Gators.
