USF Game At Kansas To Be Televised on Fox Sports Net

TAMPA, FLA. (September 11, 2006) – The USF football game at Kansas, September 23, will be aired live on Fox Sports Net with a 6 p.m. Central Time kickoff.

The game in Lawrence, Kan. will be the first-ever meeting between the Bulls and Jayhawks, although the teams are set to meet again September 13, 2008 in Tampa.

With the addition of the FSN telecast, USF now has at least seven of its 12 games on television, with potential remaining on each of the other five games. This week, the Bulls play at UCF on CSTV, followed by the Kansas game and a Friday, September 29 game against Rutgers on ESPN2.

USF is also scheduled for an ESPN game, October 22 at Cincinnati.

does FSN regionalize their games or are they national?

The release just says FSN, not FSN Florida, so I am hoping that means it is national

I believe this is a national game.  I've seen Big 12 and Pac 10 games on FSN Florida last year and so far this season.

Excellent... most of the BBers head to the Bulls Club watch party at Capogna's hosted Pinellas County Alumni Chapter... we aren't sponsoring an official watch party this year (we last did in 2004).

All of the watch parties are great places to go for away games... but Capogna's is A LOT of fun... I won't be there for Kansas, but I probably will be there for Cincinnati.

No need to... just show up.  Although I am sure everyone will be looking forward to meeting you.

great news, I was worried I would be cooking bacon and eggs at the tailgate in lawrence.  Although a noon game would have allowed me to catch either the ul-ksu game or kc royals-tigers game later that night.
