After the BCS bowls start.Makes no sense to me.

Guest
So they predict South Florida in Toronto and Connecticut in Birmingham... yeah right. Not sure about Navy... They are 2-0 but their remaining schedule is rough, and they need five more victories -- and they barely beat U Mass this weekend (21-20): at Stanford vs Tulsa at Connecticut at Air Force vs Rutgers vs #2 Notre Dame at Duke at Eastern Michigan vs Temple vs ArmyMieneke "might" be available. Guest
4; Navy can go 6-6 and make a bowl game.I don't think so... If I remember correctly, they changed that rule when they added the 12th game every year.I think a team must be 7-5 to go to a bowl game.I need to look it up.... Guest
Yes ... according to the 2005-2006 Postseason Handbook:A deserving winning team is defined as one that wins a minimum of six games against Division I-A competition and has a record that includes more wins than losses. [Exception: Each year, a Division I-A institution may count a victory against a Division I-AA opponent that has averaged 90 percent of the permissible maximum number of grants-in-aid per year in Division I-AA football over a rolling two-year period. Only a conference champion may seek a waiver of these requirements.
