Can somebody tell the Beef Studs not to start chants while we have the ball. Also the band continues to play as the O is walking to the line. Just shouldn't happen

the band has a headset and also is in talks with the athletics on when they can and can't play...its not really up to us...but this weekend it could have been FIU that was playing the entire game, over USF band, over the annoucer...

This is true, the HOT is told when they can and cannot play by someone in the booth.  If they were to go against the call from the booth, the sh** would hit the fan.

I think when SG gets the chance to address a huge chunk of the student body, they should tackle issues like that. For example - I don't know about this year - but for the past 3-4 years, the exec presentation at Round-Up and Midnight Mania has been pathetic, scripted, and not funny at all. I've always felt that they should say things like "at football games, you scream when the other team has the ball to throw them off, and you hush when our team has the ball to let them hear and think!" Same with teaching cheers. Oh, and by the way, they should KNOW the cheers they try to teach.... sometimes, that would entail having attended a game at some point in their career....

In games past, I've noticed the beef studs try to calm down the loud crowd when we have been on offense. But this was prior to them being so large.

The band on the other hand? I don't know who is in charge of it, but they have to stop. The band is what gets all of the people to cheer who attend the games and don't know any better.

The Studs werent that bad about it last night. It was the students in the middle section. They were on their feet on O and sitting down reading books on D.

The Studs probelm was throwing **** at the players and starting at least 3 fights with me and the group I was with. But hey let's support the drunk honors kids who call ******** when theres a penalty on the other team.

guys behind the field goal post were trying to start the wave for WAY too much of the game...we were behind trying to come back and they are trying to start a wave with clearly not enough people on the opposite side of the stadium to even do a wave to begin with.  why can't we just support the team and watch the game?

and speaking of support, i agree that people need to be informed about when to  be loud (the stadium announcer does a good job at that during crucial moments) and also when to be quiet for the offense to communicate and audible.  but every school has the same problem.
