Big East game on ESPN2 now-Pitt vs Cincy

who are you rooting for and why.

i know it would be better for the BE for Pitt to win because they have a better shot at being ranked.  however,  i think we first and foremost, need to look out for the Bulls.  Pitt is more likely to be battling us for a bowl spot or bowl positioning in the standings so i say go Cincy

plus, i dont like wandstat (sp?)  and Pitt's starting defense is mostly from Florida.  make them pay for not coming to USF

I've got to pull for what's best for the BE and I think Pitt has the better chance of having a ranked season ..... but Cincy is looking **** impressive.

Pitts win over Virginia, while impressive, was at home... and they benefitted from two 70+ yard TD passes and an interception return for a touchdown.  Three big plays for 21 points.

So there needs to be a slight discount of their win last week.

well their first TD tonight was a result of a INT that put them in the redzone.

i think its safe to say that Palko has been a bust.

Far from a bust. Pitt had crap field position all first half and is without their #1 RB. Palko hit that big pass to lead them down the field. Cincinnati is set up to defend the pass. Cincy's offense hasn't done much and especially not with their running game.

when palko came into Pitt they were talking about him like he was the 2nd coming of Dan Marino.  he broke just about every high school passing record in PA.  now he is a 5th year senior and still looks shakey.  he has been the benefactor of some GREAT WRs.  he throws little dumpoff passes that turn into huge runs from the WR.
