Notre Dang yanked outta the Big East ? I'm asking

Since nobody seems to think that Notre Dang will be a football member, why don't we dump them from the other sports ?

Just a guess....  The BE probably uses that as a stick so they agree to more Big East football match-ups.

Has nothing to do with football and the Big east. It has to do with the fact that Notre Dame sports are followed by a massive fan base. It's also a good brand name to keep around.

ND owns the whole NJ, NY, Pennsylvania corridor of college fans.  Pretty much where the Big East keeps its home.

if we have 3 teams in the bcs mix every year and 3 teams that make noise every few years then as a conference we will survive and can split and add some teams for football. if we can't get that then we stay.

if we split ND would stay with the Bball schools
