AD finalists: is anyone foaming...

i expected some big 12 or big 10 AD ( or some heir apparent at a one tier BCS schoo) looking for a challenge would throw a hat in the ring. instead you have a bunch of boys trying to move up to the big chair, IMO

Sorry but im not all that surprised. I expected maybe some AD's at nonBCS schools to apply but i NEVER expected someone that was an AD in a BCS conference to apply.

As long as whoever comes in comes with knowledge of a BCS program and with ideas and energy to take our program to the next level. I have no problem

Very impressed.  I've heard amazing things about all three, particularly Oliver.

I presume Omni's heard similar stuff.  My two favs are Hollis, and Oliver, neither is a bad choice, but I keep hearing that Uconn's guy may still enter the race.

I'm pleased with the list. All three finalists have solid AD credentials, and experience that is highly relevant to what USF needs of its AD (overseeing construction of new buildings, promoting events, etc.)

Anticlimactic, although I thought the UConn guy had already applied. I was also a little surprised the LSU guy didn't make the list, based on the little bit of information available through this board and from the Trib.

I'm sure the ath. dept has a solid set of criteria for finding a qualified AD and they will find the best person qualified for the job. Regardless of whether they're from a bordering state or anywhere else in the country.

How many fans were excited when we hired Jim Leavitt? He like all the AD finalists have solid credentials and are from major programs.
