USF-McNeese State Game to be Aired on ABC 28 and Cox New Orleans

TAMPA, FLA. (August 24, 2006) -- USF’s football game September 2 with McNeese State will be aired live on ABC 28 in the Tampa Bay area and on Cox New Orleans, it was announced today. Dave Weekley and Doug Graber will provide the play-by-play and color analysis on the 7 p.m. broadcast produced by ESPN Plus. The game will be re-broadcast on Catch 47 Sunday, September 3 at 3 p.m.

“We are proud that we are able to host the opening game of the 10th anniversary season for the USF football program,” says Bill Caret, Vice President and General Manager of ABC Action News.

Alan Little, Director of Enhanced Programming at Bay News 9 adds, “Catch 47 is pleased to be the cable partner of USF Athletics and we look forward to bringing the game to USF Bulls fans on a tape delayed basis.”

Other USF games presently scheduled for television include September 9 against Florida International (ESPN 360), September 29 against Rutgers (ESPN2), October 22 at Cincinnati (ESPN) and November 4 against Pittsburgh (Big East Syndicated). Other broadcasts may still be added.

Refresh my memory,.  For out of staters, ESPN+ means I can buy this game on PPV right?
