The only way I can picture that happening where the driver isn't being a total dumbass is if they THREW the deer onto the road as the car was coming up. Or oiled up the road. Or something. If they just stuck an animal there, the driver is at least as idiotic as the people who put it there, and I feel bad for his passenger. You NEVER swerve the car outside of a lane to avoid things...especially if they aren't human and you're going over 30. If you're going a decent speed for the conditions, breaking will usually do it.Eyes on the road? Going relatively near the speed limit? When did people forget how do drive? They dont jail animals for crossing the road, and good drivers will NOT crash from animals in the road, real or not!I'm not taking away from the stupidity of putting it there in the first place, but I actually see 2 months in jail as a bit much, especially for kids. If they're seriously gonna put those young morons in jail for this, then I'd like to see every single person who gets busted for a DUI in for a YEAR on the first offense. That is a way bigger problem, and its given slaps on the wrist and then everyone looks the other way.

The reason the judge is letting them play football is that if these kids are good enough to get scholarships to play at the next level, he doesn't want to take the opportunity to earn a college education because of some dumbass highschool prank, which is all it was.Unfortunately for the kids in the car, it was a prank gone EXTREMELY wrong. I can think of a few pranks in my day that probably could have cause some serious serious problems...we too some baricade lights once years ago on a major highway, things like that seemed harmless when I was 18, but looking back, it was probably not the smartest idea for the safety of others. One broke his neck and the other got injured pretty bad also. If they were my kids that got seriously injured like that, I would bust both those retards up pretty bad... Football wouldn't be an option at all for them.
