This past week, I have seen UM, FSU & UF practice reports. Nothing on the South Florida BULLS.

USF has a QB battle between a Senior and a Redshirt Freshman from Lake Gibson and nothing reported this week. There was a couple nice stories from Patrick Zier a week or so ago that were great.

But wondering why the drop off in coverage? USF just signed contracts with Home & Away games with Indiana & Michigan State and also extended the series with UCF.

Hoping for more BULLS coverage,

For 2 years I tried and tried to ask, beg, threaten, shame the ledger into covering the Bulls.

I had an email conversation going on with the Sports Editor for that entire time.

Finally last year after the first game and very little coverage, I swore them off.

I have not had any additional conversations since that time.

THEY JUST DON'T GET IT

USF is in their own city and they won't cover it.

I'm at a loss for words.

...wish I could make this meeting.

And in case some do not remember Randy from last season ... "Gator" has nothing to do with a school up I-75 from Tamplona.

Man, god bless you, my friend. you are tireless for the cause.  You and some of the other stalwarts (the "old timers" without meaning that offensively) can't be thanked enough for your grassroots tree shaking.  Keep up the good work, amigo.

From Matts HS days in Lakeland I spent alot of time with most of the sports people at the Ledger so I think it is time for me to make a phone call!!!

Do it coach ... and tell Rick if he doesn't take care of us ... I will take more of his poker money like I did in Charlotte  ;D

We had a great time.

Thanx for the positive remarks tampajo ... if all of us would just take a moment to do this - IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

We need to show there is a demand. If not ... how would they know?

ET,

When I emailed last year for the same reasons I got an email saying there was just no interest from the people subscribing to their paper about USF. They mentioned they have a limited staff and Florida and Florida State are the preferred teams in the region and they have to get them in 1st. They said they hope to run more USF features in the future, but the subscribers would have to dictate what they run, which they hadn't yet.
