He has 3 Rival Stars ... and it does seem that he is a passer that can run ... from what I hear - never seen him play.

PT is finally having an effect on recruiting (playing time). We've got everything at USF now. The decision kids have to make is do they want to play or ride the pine (elsewhere)?

Of course, recruiters will always play with young egos. They'll throw out stuff like, "the cream will rise to the top, and if you are as good as we know you are, you're gonna play!"

Just look on the benches at the very best programs in the country... Remember that 5-star QB that came to USF for a visit sometime back and signed with LSU? ---Yup, riding the pine... Though, I have heard the benches there are first-class all the way.

I;ve been told the only thing keeping him from being a 4 star QB is the fact that he is not much of an accomplished passer yet. A big season from him at Gulf passing wise and he'll be a 4 star talent.

He can throw the deep ball, the problem is the shorter passes.

I think BULLfreak's comments have more to do with the fact that the ranking systems are severely flawed and quite often the stars are based less on talent (directly) and more on who shows interest and signs the player.
