I won't doubt what Pete Carroll has done, because he has put together a great program. However, any good coach can win at Southern Cal, they are the ONLY football power out west on a regular basis. They have recruiting all to themselves.

USC put themselves in a hole by rehiring John Robinson (too old) and then hiring Paul Hackett (ZERO personality) it hurt their recruiting. Pete has been able to reverse that trend and bring in the great players as well as coach them well.

BUT you cannot tell me with a straight face that program is clean. They're about as clean as Erickson's Hurricanes and it will come back to haunt Pete in the end.
