It seems like the past few years we have remained a young team. We must have a tremendous turnover in players, but I would guess it is due to the jump to 1A followed by the jump to CUSA and the junp to the Big East with BCS status. Are we at a peak now and it is only a short time until our team is loaded with upper classmen or do we still face several years in which our talent level keeps getting higher as the team grows in prominence? A good combo of young and old talent can win a lot of games if you have the right playmakers on both sides of the ball. For years we have had playmakers on the defensive side of the ball (Woods, Henry, Reed, Nicholas) but on offense we haven't had a balanced set of player makers since Blackwell and Rubin graduated. Fisher and Hall were electric playmakers but they didn't have any help throwing the ball.Beside Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
