I decided to hold back such pictures in order to keep us focussed on the subject of practice.

They were pretty good shots too. They were. But it's sort of like the pictures of the N.C. State old ladies that picked up some stud Bulls to give them some loving....at the time it seemed cool, but upon further reflection that dirty laundry was probably not necessary...But now that I see the chief has opined on this thread, I will comment further. Mike took some great pictures out there today. Very nice work Mike. Hopefully Mike will get out for more. I was amazed at the clarity in the pictures. On the Media Day thread someone commented about Mike's pictures being "the best." They are. When compared to the pictures offered online at other spots, none compare to Mike's. Great work Mike (again) - thanks.

There were a couple of skirmishes in these man on man drills. They seemed to be more on the lighthearted side and when they did get a little cuhrazy-- people jumped to the scene to break them up. That usually occurred once they made it to the ground-- not unlike a hockey fight.

Mike, Can you provide any other inside info ? Any reports ? sorry Et-- I can't say one way or another. We only get the first 30 minutes of practice to be there (media) and then are asked to move along. So I didn't really see any scrimmage type of action or pairing of teams etc. Mostly I walked around to the various breakouts and took shots of stuff I thought might be appealing to the average fan. In those first 30 minutes-- other than the punt team stuff at the onset and the man on man drills-- most of it was technique work and stretching. I will say that they were all working hard and feeling good about getting into full gear for the first time since the spring
