all acc team is filled with florida players

all sec has plenty of florida players

the nfl is filled with players from florida high schools

yet, our beloved bulls are still getting out recruited for great talent by out of state teams

ladies AND gentlement, until this is rectified, the bulls will never   legitimately  compete   for a big east title

In the last three years USF has signed more players from the Florida Top 100 list than any team other than the Big 3.

If you mean those in the top 20 then the reality is that USF still cant compare to the top BCS schools when it comes to fan support and visibility. But that will improve.

well, it's kind of pointless when they arent smart enough to maintain a 2.0 (or whatever it is) in Basket-weaving 101

We're getting better, but it takes time.  I believe that it will be a very different situation in 5 years, just like it was a very different situation 5 years ago.  It takes time to build a program.

The people's chump always has something postive or constructive to say.

Maybe it will make you feel better to know that CURRENTLY USF has 20 Top 100 Florida kids in its roster.

9 years is a long time to be on the scene, it's true, but getting the top recruits means having some sort of top draw, and realistically, we're on recruiting period number 4 when we've been able to name a IA conference in our future and only #2 when it's been a BCS conference. Consider that 9 years ago, these kids were starting to think pop warner (and likely watching the big 3 or their parents' team play college ball). 4 years ago, they were starting training camp for their freshman squad and probalby had pipe dreams of where they'd want to go to college. 2 years ago, they realized they're pretty **** good and started practicing writing "Hook 'Em Horns" or "War Eagle" next to their signature. Simply put, at this point, no one grows up dreaming of being a Bull--yet. When you're a top prospect and can write your ticket pretty much anywhere, even with strong recruiting, we simply don't yet show up on the radar.
