Most of us Bulls know enough about our football team now to know that miracles will not happen, i.e., one shining star who will take over the team and guide us to national fame -at least not this year.

Here's what everything will come down to:

1) Can our QB make those slant and down the middle throws accurately this year?

2) Will our receivers catch the important balls --the ones that we need to keep the offense on the field?

3) Can our kicker make field goals?

4) Can our punter pin the other team back?

Yes, I know there are a ton of other elements on the offense, but this was what was broken (except for the punting part last year).

I'm not worried about the running game, and I'm certainly not worried about the defense. Heck, we've had great defense at USF since day one.

There is one positive: we've upgraded our receiving corp -that alone will help a lot already.

End-arounds and option plays will not get us first downs all year long! (Silly Rabbit, tricks are for kids!)

I trust our QB situation will be better (GrothE) ... and I do BULLieve miracles WILL happen with this team in 2006 & 7 hopefully  8-)

Atleast the schedule is set up nicely for USF to grow into the season.

I like Fishin's optimism.  But Top 25 will be tough, especially when you consider who we play the last two weeks of the season.  If we drop both of those games it will definitely drop us out of the Top 25.

we will not be ranked at the end b/c we will lose the last 2 games of the year!

our team CAN beat UL and West Virgina at the end of the year. If we have a good quarterback and leads the team like suppose to,then we should win last two games.
