bout right

cut the 38k in half and u have it pretty close....

cancel the UCF game every other year.. and u will end up with 15k in real #s.

we were ave 30k before playing ucf

don't even think about hurricane stomped 2004 that was a tough luck year!

Yes, because DIII/DII schools sell out 63k seat stadiums.  Most I-A schools can't sell out 63k seat stadiums.

Why is attendence talked about so much?  It's cause USF lies about it, fans gloat about the numbers USF reports and TBO busts them on a regular basis.

They report what was sold (tickets given out)... the NFL does it... every other school does it.

We don't inflate numbers (we don't mention more tickets than what was sold/given out).

Plus, we're not talking about USF selling 40k and only having 20k show up.

It's silly to keep holding USF accountable for "lying" about ticket sales.  And just like UCF... USF students pay an athletic fee (so they are counted for).  Crap… there was even a post (with a link) that shows how UCF counts tickets.

I remember that article.  It did not say whether all tickets were used or not.  USF has plenty of comp tickets handed out too.

NFL teams need to sell out for tv reasons, so they try to stretch it as far as possible, going as far as to buy their own tickets.  The only exceptions are Arizona and Jacksonville, because their fan bases suck.
