USF Practice Schedule

Following is the USF Practice schedule. Practice is open for the first 30 minutes for media. Scrimmages are closed. For player interviews, please make every effort to give one day notice for requests. Interviews will be following practice. Coach Leavitt speaks after every practice. Media Day is Tuesday at 3 pm at Raymond James Stadium. Requests need not be made for specific player at media day. If you have special photography requests, please let us know.

Odd that they provide it when it's only open to the media for the first 30 minutes.

Athletics should capitalize on the closed practices to give donors some 'special access' times.

I am sure some donors can attend practices if they wish ... but I am not that donor  :P

One of the advantages of being a I-AA fan.   All McNeese practices are open to everyone and everyone is actually encouraged to come out.

Another advantage.   I can walk into Coach Tate's office anytime when he isn't meeting with someone or on the phone, say hello, and shoot the bull.     ;)

Many Top programs close their practices also.

And it's not like there is a BIG demand for it ... it is either guys wanting their face with the program or football junkies.

Here's USC's practice shedule.  Only one practice is open to the public:

August 2 = players report

August 3-6 = veterans practice @ 8:45am and newcomers practice @ 3pm

August 7 = full team practice @ 8:45am (first day of pads)

August 8 = full team practices at 9am and 4pm

August 9 = full team practice at 3pm

August 10 = full team practices at 9am and 4pm

August 11 = full team practice at 3pm

August 12 = full team practices at 9am and 4pm

August 13 = full team practice in evening

August 14 = full team practice at 3pm

August 15 = full team practices at 9am and 4pm

August 16 = full team practice at 3pm

August 17 = full team practices at 9am / evening practice at Coliseum

August 18 = full team practice at 3pm / Salute to Troy banquet in evening

August 19 = full team practice at 4pm

August 20 = full team practice at 7:45pm at Coliseum (open to the public)

August 21 = no practice

August 22 = full team practice at 4pm

August 23 = full team practice at 4pm

August 24 = full team practice at 4pm

August 25 = full team practice at 4pm

August 26 = full team practice at 1pm

August 27 = no practice

August 28 = game week practice at 4pm

August 29 = game week practice at 4pm

August 30 = game week practice at 4pm
