(August 2, 2006) – Marvin Peoples, a 6-2, 230-pound linebacker who transferred to USF this summer from Maryland, has been granted a waiver of the NCAA transfer rule mandating a player sit out one season. Peoples, who graduated from Apopka High School in 2005, will now be eligible to play for the Bulls immediately.Peoples spent one season at Maryland and utilized a redshirt before opting to transfer to be closer to his ill mother.
