difference is, I think TBDBITL's looking at one more. If I'm not mistaken, they typically go to one or two away games a year, plus TSUN when that's an away game for them. they've got their fairly new Steinbrenner band room in Ohio Stadium--I hardly think they're struggling.

Major difference, they are sending a PEP BAND to Texas, the fans want the whole band there.

Difference = they have $$

They just want to do more!  We can't bring ourselves into complience with the universities own visual standards... let alone go to extra games!  We have UCF... thats it.

They have a "band room".... we have a horrible looking broken down trailer on the edge of campus.  I doubt you want to start this arguement.

No argument intended....just happened to see that.  I think if there's one game OSU would want their Band to go to for the purpose of spirit, it's this one.    It's easy enough for them to get their Band to Big 10 games I would think.

It costs a buttload of money to send a couple hundred kids cross country, ship the instruments, which some can weigh 50lbs, and insure them.  It's probably at least half a mil to have the band at Texas.

It would have cost UCF almost 2mil to send the band to the Hawaii Bowl.
