Has anybody seen this? At least someone is noticing. I hope he gets drafted.

Good Find man.  I think the article is wrong in saying that he is not predicted to be drafted.  Everything that I have heard and read has him around a 3rd or 4th rd pick.

This article is the perfect answer to that other thread's question of "Are we a player on the national stage? ".

If we were, JR would be a definate draft pick.

It's great to see that J.R. is being recognized for the talent he has.  I really don't believe that he won't be drafted, however.   I wouldn't be too surpised if he goes the first day.

Pro Football Weekly usually does a good job with their rankings. They have Whittaker, Jones, Verpaele and Reed assigned grades that would put them in rounds 5 or lower but definitely draftable.

Great articles on JR.  I am impressed by his fine academic record as well.  I think he is a great representative for USF football, and I will instantly become a fan of whatever team is smart enough to draft him.

Who is next years JR?

I think next our big play maker on deffense will be Mike Jenkins or Nicholas.  They are young but think one of those two players can help lead our defense to the top like it has been in the past.  GO BULLS!!!

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
