The LSU MBA Program has a tournament running tomorrow, and the price was $150 a head, or $50 for a current MBA student...

now that is affordable, i'd play in that case, but 300, maybe if my boss would sponsor it... but not out of my pocket.

I guess it all depends on demand.  If Athletics thinks they'll get enough people to participate at that rate, then more power to them.  If they don't get enough players, then I'm sure they'll adjust accordingly next year.

I'd pay to play, and $300 is fine, but I don't have any buddies or a team I can get together that would shell that much out.   I am not big on shelling out $300 in a scramble set-up without knowing my team in advance- particularly since i am a D golfer, about a 22-25 handicap.  

Do you take AMEX for the Tourney?

For that price the dining better be **** good, the goodie bags better be sufficiently stuffed, the prizes better be nice, and I wouldn't mind Hooters girls at the Hole in Ones. ;D

We will accept the same forms of currency as usual:  cash, chec, mastercard, visa.....and american express.  No discover card or trades.

I would certainly encourage everyone that is interested to check out the pinellas alumni golf outing, but it doesn't directly support athletics, it does support the pinellas county alumni chapter.  Just wanted to clarify that.
