If I were Sol I wouldnt accept a draft spot or a post draft offer if it were from the Knicks.

This is a draft question that pertains to all sports:

Can a player opt not to enter the draft and then sign with any team as a free agent. Does something prevent this from happening?

I do think all leagues have something that disallows this.

STHU...that's just stu...oh I'm not allowed to say that word 'cuz I have children.  THAT'S JUST THE MOST IGNORAMUS THING I'VE HEARD.  That's right.  I can see it.  A USF Bull athlete turning down a chance to play in a major sport in the world's biggest city.   Yea, no thanks Knicks.  I'm gonna go over to Isreal & play instead of New York City.  No it doesn't matter that NYC is within driving distance of 75% of all BE schools and the BE Tourney is there.  Maybe while I'm over there, Hamas will shoot a rocket up my arse .  Thanx again...SoJo.

I really don't think Herm was serious ......... although I would hope the Knicks would be Sol's very last resort for playing in the NBA if not drafted.
