Why do they even bother having a USF web page? Do they ever update it? Greg does a lot of good work and they ignore it. Stupid.

It's nearly random whether a USF story makes it onto that page or not. It's been my No. 1 pet peeve for a long time, so you're preaching to the choir a bit by telling me.Best thing you can do -- anytime you have a comment about USF coverage, good or bad -- is send an e-mail to sptsnews@sptimes.com. I can complain all day, but sometimes it's more effective if you guys say the same things. Cyber, what's wrong with the road football coverage? We've had a beat writer at every game as far as I know, certainly in my two years on the beat ... greg

You do such a good job that I haven't had to complain in a long time. I know its not you fault/responsibility to update that page. Its a shame to waste all of you good work and that was my point. I will drop a line. Perhaps a sponsorship of a USF web page would some programmer time devoted to updating it. I'll see what I can do . . . . .Thanks again for the good work. Not since Sharron Ginn have I been so pleased with the USF reporting.

I actually traded e-mails with Sharon just last week. Small world: she covered UT coach Joe Urso when he was a minor-leaguer in the Angels minor-league system and she was a reporter in Riverside, California. Was just telling me what a great quote he was back then, well-liked enough that the Lake Elsinore Storm retired his jersey. Sounds like Prado has a good sense of humor about him too, though ...
