And among those interested in the position is Florida State associate head coach Jamey Shouppe. "We've talked about a lot," FSU coach Mike Martin said. "I just want what is best for him and his family. I want the guy to be happy. He's been a very loyal coach and good friend. They couldn't hire a better coach."  Shouppe is in his 16th season at FSU, where he played and graduated in 1982. And maybe just maybe it could bleed over to hoops and then footBULL. Dang, dreamin again..........

The recruiting aspect alone I think is the real key! And I agree with Tybull it would be great to get some ties with them so we can play them in big sports again and beat them again. Everyone knows they stopped playing us cuz bball was beating them back in the day! Go BULLS!

Could bring strong recruiting, but most important is that he understands what it takes to build a championship caliber program. Leavitt came with the same type of coaching background, but ewe really haven't had a coach here that has been part of championship teams since Lee Rose came. This could be a very nice match. Martin has dissatisfied enough Seminoles that Martin Jr. won't get the job. Therefore, hiring Shouppe will create more long-range problems than it solves. Shouppe bleeds garnet & gold like Eriksen bleeds green & gold. Leavitt didn't attend KSU nor coach there exclusively for over a decade.
