It makes way more sense for them to be in the ACC since they’re geographically distant from the rest of their Big East conference mates.ProsIn state rivalries with Florida State and Miami could develop. Would keep the geography of the ACC the same and shrink the geography of the Big East significantly. They bring a nice new stadium to the conference, even if it doesn’t belong to them. ConsIt weakens the ACC. However, USF could probably recruit better in state talent being in a better conference. Change #s 7, 8, 9, 10: That now leaves only eight teams in the Big East. So, move Army and Navy into the Big East since Notre Dame perpetually schedules them anyway. Put Temple in there as well so as to eliminate all of the independents. Rob C-USA one more time and put Marshall in the Big East as the 12th team.ProsNotre Dame’s constant scheduling of military schools will be validated and intensified as conference rivalry games. The Big East now has 12 teams and a conference championship game. Conference geography is tightened up. ConsHaving to listen to Notre Dame throw shitfits over frequent trips to West Virginia…and having to play Temple. C-USA is somewhat wrecked and their championship game eliminated. Not much of a problem though considering they could only get the stadium 2/3 full in Orlando with UCF in the game. I did say some parties would suffer unfairly. Why not the SEC instead? We should be happy about being in the big east. It's a BCS league and if its teams can even match last years performance somewhat consistently it will stay that way. Money! It's easier to get out of league play unscathed, but its not EASY. On top of all this, another major change such as the recent raid is several years off at least. None of the major conferences want to toss any more fuel into legal fire at this point. I have a feeling they'll wait a bit before the next asanine big-business more. Though I would love to see USF regularly in competition here in NC.

Southeastern yes, but the South we are not.

It's Abercrombie and frosted hair everywhere! IF the SEC offered us I'd be jumping ship in a second, they make Millions more than the BE.
